As a trucking company it's important that we fill up our trucks as much as possible before they hit the road, or we don't make enough profit. At the same time it's also important that the trucks aren't overfilled because if we get caught with overfilled trucks we end up with huge fines and can even risk being put out of business. As you can imagine, this has made me a passionate advocate of calibrating our truck scales regularly.
